The Chairman

The brainchild behind Gem Paradise is Mr. A.H.M. Imtizam who has held a steadfast commitment to delivering the best quality Gemstones, since the company inception in 1989. Exposed to the Gem Industry at a very young age, his passion was derived from the levels of perfection maintained by the family run business from decades past. As the 3rd generation member of the family to excel in the Trade, he is a reputed and highly respected personality in the Gem Industry.

Known for his innate skills of building valued long term relationships with clients and suppliers alike, his attention to detail is possibly the most notable trait that sets him apart in the Industry. With an eye for artistic ingenuity, his persistence is apparent in every stone manufactured by the Company. In maintaining consistent quality standards over the past 25 years, Mr. Imtizam is an epitome of integrity in business ethics & principles.

In addition to heading Gem Paradise he is also the current Chairman and Founding Life Member of the Sri Lanka Gem & Jewellery Association (SLGJA). He was the Chairman of the ICA Congress Organising Committee 2015, while he was also the ICA Director, Sri Lanka from 2007-2013 and has been an ICA member since 1989.
